Consensus Construction & Consulting, Inc. is a full service general contracting company founded by John O’Brien in response to the rapidly changing construction markets. Consensus has drastically modified the company overhead structure in response to the ever competitive industry.  The new company model increases competitive pricing, while maintaining quality of work and efficiency.  Originally based in Georgetown and new office Myrtle Beach South Carolina, the company currently serves North Carolina, South Carolina & Florida markets. Our firm specializes in all types of commercial construction, tenant improvements, retail market facilities, design-build project, fast track, and unique projects requiring extensive pre-construction services.  The organization is highly regarded for its integrity, technology, solid expertise and partnership approach to the planning, pre-construction management and execution of unique renovation, historic restoration and new construction projects. Consensus Construction evaluates projects for constructability, provides cost estimates, helps maintain project scheduling, and works with owners to meet quality and time objectives.  The Consensus Team has collectively managed and constructed many of the Grand Strand’s innovative landmark projects.  Recently, many of the projects include complex renovation, addition to existing structure, and fast track metal structures.

  • Complete Timberline Management System. We use an integrated software system which eliminates duplicate entry and minimizes report altering. Our software also can integrate with Beck Technology, BIM, Google Earth, Microsoft products, Energy Analysis Software, and more.
